Twelve sworn interpreters, all C1-level, all Rbtv-registered, focused on one thing: Dutch notarial deeds.

NotarisTolk Pro is a focused bureau: sworn interpreters for notarial deeds, only. We do not interpret at police stations, hospitals, or courts. This singular specialization shows in every appointment — terminology mastered through repetition, notarial phrasing internalized through years of practice.

Every interpreter on our roster is C1-level and Rbtv-registered, meeting the highest standard recognized in the Dutch Register of Sworn Interpreters and Translators. The KNB (Royal Dutch Notarial Association) explicitly recommends C1-level interpreters for notarial work.

NotarisTolk Pro was featured in KNB Notariaat Magazine (May 2025) in an article titled "Kies de juiste tolk" — discussing the importance of specialized C1-level interpreters in notarial practice.

Why C1 matters

  • Article 42 of the Wna requires notaries to use a sworn interpreter for clients who don't speak Dutch.
  • The Rbtv register has two levels — B2 and C1. Only C1 reflects specialist notarial training and experience.
  • If an underqualified interpreter causes an error, the notary shares liability for the resulting damage.
  • The KNB advises using a sworn, C1-level interpreter wherever one is available.
